@fdgonthier @anildash As far as my kids were concerned it had the best points of first movie: Lightning McQueen racing, Mater being funny.
While on Cars 2, my daughter impressed me with her awareness of the marketing campaign and debated me on the idea of over promotion.
@anildash It was made for a target audience and that audience enjoyed it. And I had fun watching it with my kids because they were liking it
@anildash And my point is that just because the grown ups that take the kids don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s crap.
@anildash You know they’re kids movies, right? If the kids like them it doesn’t matter how bad they are. Parents will take the kids. I did.
