Today’s conclusion: The Google URL shortening API is too simple with API key but too complicated with OAuth.
Now if only my URL shortener API issue could be settle as easily as my Gmail issue. Hmmmm.
Today’s 3rd project (setting up Gmail to receive/send from another account) failing. Any help?
Google’s URL shortener API gives the same response for an URL being shortened for the first time as it does the 10th time. Wrong!
Does YOURLs have the only API that will return a fail when you try to shorten an already shortened URL? Looks like it to me. Annoying.
But if this is the case why don’t other similar lists (Teaneck?) have the same problem?
The role of moderating an email listserv is to enable posters to communicate and not to continuously put stumbling blocks in their way.
