@bananza Finally got the short codes unblocked after half an hour on chat. it took 25 minutes for the person to understand what i needed.

Sprint chat: Remove your battery while we refresh your device. This will take a few minutes. Me: A few minutes? Really?

Sprint chat: I am not showing that you have a text messaging block. Me: Short codes. Get with it.
